Pre-thanksgiving Burt Family

It's that time of year. Today we ate a pre-thanksgiving feast (we're not having a traditional Thanksgiving with our extended family this year, so we had all the classic stuff tonight, because really, how could we not?) And now we're putting up the christmas decorations and listening to Christmas music. While the rain pounds down on the roof. There's a fire in the fire place. And my mom is about to break out the pumpkin pie.
So yeah, this is a very very happy classic family tradition-moment in the Burt household. Wish Alex was here.
Also, it's weird to think I wont be here for the putting-up-of-decorations next year :/ It's such a snuggly family tradition. I love it.

(wrote that on Monday, not today, obviously, because today is thanksgiving. Hah.)
